Senior Financial Data Analyst (Payments)

What you will do

• Partner with Account Management, Global Delivery, and Product Leadership on strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data using SQL to identify insights and trends.
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for financial performance metrics.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial planning for the Paymode product line.
• Support annual long-range planning, operational planning, and financial planning processes.
• Develop financial, variance, and modeling analyses; establish and track KPIs to improve business performance.

Requirements

• Relevant progressive experience in the software and/or payments industry.
• Previous experience within a private-equity-backed business.
• Experience working with teams to drive efficiency, organizational change, and continued growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business.
• Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated, continuous-improvement mindset.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, system, and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Ability to meet deadlines and independently manage multiple projects and requests.
