Content Systems Support Engineer (AWS)

Location: Onsite at the Osterley office near London, UK; 24/7 shift environment including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts follow a 5 days on / 4 days off pattern: early 7am–7pm, mid 10am–10pm, and night 7pm–7am. Applicants must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Provide 24/7/365 support for content processing systems and resolve incidents to maintain platform stability and service availability.
• Lead initial investigations into technical issues in Media Asset Management systems and interconnected broadcast workflows, escalating to system specialists when required.
• Monitor platform performance to predict and prevent issues and support customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with system owners, engineering teams, and operational staff across systems and projects, including effective handovers.
• Document findings and resolutions to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Support local and international operations within a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical issue resolution.
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in coding or scripting using Python and Bash.
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK.
