Secure Support Engineer (IT Security)

Location: Melbourn, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. On-site 5 days a week, with some travel to other offices. Candidates must possess UK single-nationality and have resided in the UK for at least 5 years to obtain the required security clearance.

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for users in a secure environment and escalate requests when required.
• Provide technical support and input to team projects.
• Support business-critical systems and help maintain secure, available IT environments.
• Create clear reports demonstrating environment usage.
• Follow strict data-management processes and support the integrity of IT services.
• Work with the wider team and travel to other offices when needed.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing IT support role, handling support tickets and interacting with colleagues of varying seniority and IT proficiency.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Azure, Office 365, and Intune.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow and produce clear, concise documentation.
• Ability to communicate at all organisational levels and work effectively as part of a team.
• UK single-nationality and at least 5 years of UK residency are required for the necessary security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience managing platforms within Azure, specifically Azure Virtual Desktops.
