Professional Services Consultant (TMS Implementation) (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; hybrid with in-office collaboration expected 10+ days per month, depending on manager and team decisions.

What you will do

• Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand technical requirements and business processes for financial instrument portfolios, including debt instruments, derivatives, and investments.
• Analyze and document implementation requirements, scope, configuration rationale, and functional strategy.
• Participate in building and implementing treasury management solutions across cash management, payments, accounting, and reconciliation modules.
• Train clients and internal stakeholders on product modules and market best practices.
• Support and troubleshoot delivered work, including Tier 2 escalation support for financial instrument issues.
• Manage implementation delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and client expectations, while identifying upselling opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in Treasury, Relationship Banking, or Fintech.
• Proven track record in project management and treasury system implementations, either for clients or as a business user.
• Thorough understanding of financial instruments, cash, payments, and the systems supporting these activities.
• Ability to apply financial markets mathematics and quickly identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, written, verbal, listening, presentation, and consultative skills.
• Comfort working with senior managers and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels in client-facing environments.
• Ability to multitask, reprioritize, and adapt to rapidly changing needs and fast-paced environments.
