(Associate) Manager Energy & Transport

Location: Hybrid in the Netherlands, with work from home, client sites, or offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients to understand challenges, objectives, and aspirations and lead transformational strategies.
• Develop innovative strategies and comprehensive transformation roadmaps, including timelines and required resources.
• Take commercial and delivery responsibility for implementing transformation initiatives and achieving targeted results.
• Monitor trends and disruptions in the energy and transport sectors and develop forward-thinking recommendations and training programs.
• Share knowledge internally and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment while guiding and mentoring consultants.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• At least 5–7 years of experience within a consultancy firm.
• A network at relevant transport and/or energy companies.
• Good understanding of market developments and their impact on actors in value chains.
• Background in strategic analysis, strategy development, and/or organizational transformation.
• Ability to sell and deliver innovative strategy consulting engagements.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics and ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Dutch.
• Ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment across varied educational levels, positions, and skills.
• Dynamic, results-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
