Senior ERP Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics 365 WMS)

Location: Cologne, Germany; remote work possible. The role contributes to warehouse technology in Sevenum. Up to 20 work-from-home days per year may be taken anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Design and build Microsoft Dynamics 365 Warehouse Management solutions for high-volume inbound logistics, inventory management, and outbound fulfilment.
• Develop custom X++ solutions, integrations, data entities, APIs, workflows, and business events connecting Dynamics 365 with warehouse technologies and enterprise systems.
• Improve receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement processes for operational efficiency and scalability.
• Perform code reviews, mentor colleagues, optimise application performance, and contribute to CI/CD, release management, and Microsoft development best practices.
• Collaborate with warehouse functional consultants, solution architects, product teams, QA engineers, and warehouse stakeholders from solution design through production deployment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions, with strong expertise in Warehouse Management and X++ development.
• Understanding of warehouse operations, fulfilment, and inventory management processes, with the ability to translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience building enterprise integrations using REST APIs, OData, Data Management Framework, Business Events, or Dual-write.
• Ability to develop clean, maintainable code.
• Interest in working closely with technical and business colleagues in an international environment.
