Programme Delivery Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the planning and end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure & Operations deliverables across transformation programmes.
• Build delivery plans, track dependencies, risks, and issues, and drive mitigation actions across concurrent workstreams.
• Coordinate Product Managers, Enablement teams, technical delivery teams, and external partners to align scope, priorities, and timelines.
• Manage vendors against contracted scope, cost, quality, performance, and delivery timelines, acting as an escalation point when required.
• Provide transparent programme reporting to leadership and steering groups, translating complex technical delivery into business-relevant updates.
• Establish programme governance, ensure compliance and quality standards, and embed continuous improvement and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programmes in Infrastructure & Operations or a technology delivery context.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior leadership without direct authority.
• Experience managing external partners and vendors, including contractual and performance accountability.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for varied audiences.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under time pressure.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid programme and project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability; clear communication, relationship-building, resilience, adaptability, accountability, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, trading, or a relevant sector.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum.
• Experience working directly with Product and Enablement functions in a matrixed organisation.
