GCP Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

What you will do

• Design and evolve enterprise-scale GCP platforms, including secure landing zones and cloud foundations.
• Define cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and security best practices.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, reusable modules, and automated provisioning.
• Enable scalable CI/CD pipelines, platform automation, and improved developer experience.
• Implement SRE principles to improve reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, influence technical decisions, and mentor engineering teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or cloud architecture, with strong hands-on GCP expertise.
• Advanced Terraform skills and experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services including IAM, VPC, GKE, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, networking, SRE, and enterprise-scale production environments.
• Experience defining cloud architectures and adoption strategies, leading technical discussions, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional certification or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with FinOps, Kubernetes platform engineering, Anthos, or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Experience in consulting, enterprise transformation, or large-scale e-commerce environments.
