Senior Business Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid, with in-office collaboration at the hirify.global office in Manila, 6805 Ayala Ave, and flexibility to work from home. Country: Philippines.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and subject matter expert for strategic clients using front-office solutions.
• Gather business requirements, propose tailored solutions, and translate client needs into technical documentation.
• Configure systems hands-on, including workflows, parameters, and platform features.
• Manage complex technical escalations, client communications, resolution efforts, and post-incident reviews.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, deliverables, milestones, risks, and roadblocks.
• Deliver client training, facilitate user acceptance testing, monitor account health, and collaborate with Product Management, Account Management, Client Support, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in software implementation, project management, account management, or a related role.
• Experience in or preferably within the investment management or financial services industry, including traditional buy-side institutions such as hedge funds or asset managers.
• Familiarity with investment management concepts, including portfolio management, trading, accounting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with equity, fixed income, and/or derivative markets.
• Strong technical skills in database structures, data integration, and APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and workflow visualization software such as Visio.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with investment management software such as Charles River, Eze, or similar platforms.
• Project management certification such as PMP or ScrumMaster.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
