English to Estonian (Estonia) Linguists for Patent

What you will do

• Translate patent-related content from English into Estonian while preserving the original meaning and readability.
• Proofread and review patent translations in the fields of chemistry, electricity, and computer science.
• Perform machine translation post-editing, copy editing, and quality control.
• Follow translation processes and CAT-tool instructions using XTM and JIRA.
• Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.
• Handle an expected weighted volume of 2,000–5,000 words per week.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience translating and reviewing patent content.
• Native-level fluency in Estonian, the target language.
• Native-level fluency in Spanish as specified in the posting.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to translate, copy edit, and perform machine translation post-editing.
