Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Singapore - Woodlands - NorthTech; onsite manufacturing role with occasional travel to other sites.

What you will do

• Support and drive product transfer into manufacturing, new product introduction, and ongoing product sustaining activities.
• Perform data trending, analysis, cycle time studies, line balancing, and KPI tracking.
• Apply FMEA, DOE, statistical analysis, and Lean methods to improve quality, yield, throughput, flexibility, material control, and cost.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests and Notifications, including updates to work instructions and test requirements.
• Support engineering documentation such as drawings, BOMs, test reports, assembly procedures, and validation plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and supervisory-level control solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Lean Kaizen events and process improvement.
• Strong process engineering and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience in an FDA/ISO 13485 environment.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP.
