Applications Engineer (Analog/Mixed-Signal)

What you will do

• Serve as the lead technical interface for customers on complex design, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing challenges.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales engineering support and develop solutions aligned with customer objectives and manufacturing capabilities.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, hands-on validation, and resolution of analog and mixed-signal product issues.
• Assess technical, operational, capacity, and scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex customer programs.
• Coordinate customers, suppliers, design engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to support integration and accelerate issue resolution.
• Influence product roadmaps and technology decisions, lead project planning, and develop technical presentations, training, and engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; relevant working experience may be considered instead of a bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, including significant customer-facing experience supporting analog circuit design, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
• Deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal electronics, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex product-, subsystem-, and system-level issues.
• Extensive laboratory experience testing, characterizing, debugging, and validating electronic products while recreating and resolving customer-reported issues.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, including the ability to influence decisions, lead technical initiatives, and advise customers and internal stakeholders.

• Experience translating customer requirements into product specifications, manufacturing solutions, and new product recommendations.
• Experience leading major technical initiatives, cross-functional projects, or customer-facing engineering programs.
• Experience reviewing, interpreting, and troubleshooting P&IDs.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools such as Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with VBA, SharePoint workflows, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar automation technologies.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting tools.
