Manager Supply Chain Planning

Location: Mapleton, Illinois; onsite five days a week, first shift. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and support processes that ensure a plan for every part, accurate inventory records, and appropriate material, component, and equipment stock levels.
• Further develop the Inventory Record Accuracy program and lineside material delivery for direct materials.
• Manage internal customer relationships and coordinate and integrate planning processes.
• Continuously improve logistical needs analysis, including onsite storage capacity, equipment, and resource requirements.
• Set up, maintain, and monitor logistical processes and dependencies, including bills of materials, routings, and inventory record accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of accuracy and attention to detail, including completing tasks with high precision.
• Working knowledge of data-gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes, including synthesizing information from stakeholders and sources.
• Knowledge of Distribution Requirements Planning for managing inventory distribution across multiple plants or warehouses.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing inventory management for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing supply chain management functions, principles, techniques, strategies, practices, and tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Inventory Record Accuracy process improvements.
• Experience with lineside material delivery and presentation.
• 5S experience.
• MFG Pro experience.
• Experience managing hourly employees in a collective-bargained facility.
