Trading Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Remote, tied to a local Robinhood office in New York, NY; Lake Mary, FL; Chicago, IL; or Denver, CO. Shifts are scheduled in EST and include overnight, extended-hours, regular market, Saturday, and Sunday coverage.

Base pay: $115,000–$135,000 USD in Zone 1; $101,000–$119,000 USD in Zone 2; $89,000–$105,000 USD in Zone 3. Additional bonus, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Execute written supervisory procedures in compliance with SEC and FINRA rules.
• Enter and execute equity and option orders and resolve trade inquiries.
• Monitor trading activity, firm accounts, corporate actions, routing systems, and market venues.
• Investigate and resolve trade-related problems while coordinating responses to system, trading, and communications incidents.
• Communicate with venues and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support live trading across overnight, extended-hours, regular market sessions, and Robinhood’s 24/7 trading function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a broker-dealer operations or trading environment.
• FINRA Series 7 license required.
• FINRA Series 57 license required.
• Strong understanding of brokerage operation functions.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter, communicate effectively, analyze information, prioritize work, and adapt to a changing environment.
