Site Manager - Metal Working (Metalworking)

What you will do

• Implement and manage an assigned metalworking service program, translating customer requirements into operating plans, schedules, workflows, and resource requirements.
• Ensure services are completed safely, accurately, consistently, and according to procedures, customer requirements, and applicable standards.
• Maintain customer relationships, communicate service status and performance, and address operational concerns.
• Monitor performance indicators and operational data, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and service reliability.
• Lead, coach, and develop assigned personnel while coordinating technicians or service leads as required.
• Maintain safety, compliance, documentation, inventory control, and resource discipline while reducing waste, rework, unnecessary consumption, and avoidable costs.

Requirements

• Experience or demonstrated competency in metalworking services, manufacturing, industrial operations, maintenance, lubrication, machining fluids, chemical management, tooling, waste management, or a related field.
• Relevant technical education, structured training, industry certifications, or equivalent demonstrated competency in metalworking services, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related field.
• Ability to coordinate operations, solve problems, maintain standards, support customer relationships, and accept accountability for service delivery, personnel, resources, and results.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret performance data, identify improvement opportunities, manage resources and priorities, and implement corrective actions through completion.
• Ability to guide and develop personnel while balancing customer needs, operational priorities, and available resources.
• Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, consistent execution, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation, reporting tools, digital documentation, and applicable business systems.
• Understanding of service programs, operational requirements, and safety, environmental, quality, and compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Experience or qualifications in metalworking fluids, lubrication, oil analysis, industrial maintenance, chemical handling, HazCom/SDS, environmental compliance, occupational safety, continuous improvement, project management, or leadership, depending on assigned responsibilities and applicable standards.
