Used Vehicle Operations and Logistics Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Support inventory acquisition strategies covering consignment, auctions, rental vehicles, dealer bids, and vehicle-buying initiatives.
• Lead pilot programs and implement scalable solutions to improve inventory availability, vehicle flow, profitability, operational efficiency, and time to frontline.
• Develop and maintain standardized SOPs, workflows, and process documentation across inventory, reconditioning, transportation, and related operations.
• Improve visibility across the vehicle lifecycle from acquisition through transportation, reconditioning, and dealership delivery.
• Coordinate with dealership leadership, corporate teams, internal departments, and external vendors to resolve delays and improve turnaround times.
• Monitor KPIs, build dashboards and reports, identify trends and bottlenecks, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in automotive retail, inventory management, transportation, reconditioning, or a related operational environment.
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs and process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with operational dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate across departments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and drive projects to completion.
