Senior Securities Specialist - Wealth Operations

Location: Hybrid in Kansas City, Missouri; in-office a minimum of 2 days per week, with training requiring up to 5 days per week for up to 8 weeks.

Salary: $21.40–$27.65 per hour.

What you will do

• Process industry trade settlement activity across functions within Wealth Operations.
• Monitor, research, and resolve reconciliation breaks, failed trades, discrepancies, and out-of-balance conditions.
• Process money market repo trade settlements and respond to client trade inquiries.
• Apply subject matter expertise in traded securities and complex asset types to ensure accurate processing.
• Identify and mitigate liability and downstream reputational risks associated with asset and settlement activities.
• Recommend process improvements, support operational efficiency, and complete special projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of financial services industry experience with securities knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of traded and non-traded security types and how security setup functions affect processing.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to solve complex issues and make decisions.
• Strong customer service, written, verbal, interpersonal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize varied assignments, manage frequent distractions, and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Adaptable, resilient, inquisitive, agile, organized, and motivated approach aligned with the organization’s culture and core values.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
