Associate, Trade Operations

What you will do

• Provide operational support to hedge fund clients across investment strategies including private equity, global macro, fixed income, mortgage, credit, distressed, long/short, risk/statistical arbitrage, emerging markets, and fund of funds.
• Set up and maintain daily client trade feeds supporting middle- and back-office deliverables.
• Support trade processing for equity, fixed income, swaps, bank debt, contracts for difference, futures, commodities, options, FX, mortgages, and repos.
• Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Reconciliations, Valuations, Investor Services, IT, support, and development teams.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and ensuring trade delivery follows best practices.
• Enhance trade capture and security origination workflows, and test platform developments and system enhancements to improve functionality and automate processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience with various financial products.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work within a group toward a centralized goal or task.
