Early Careers – Product Engineering Developer Associate Intern (AI/Cloud)

Location: Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX; Flex workplace with a minimum of three office days per week

Base pay: $17.75–$28.39 per hour

What you will do

• Participate in the five-week paid internship program and support day-to-day team activities.
• Conduct research, gather data, and perform light analysis under close mentor guidance.
• Contribute to a defined summer project with structured milestones, mentor check-ins, and manager feedback.
• Attend intern orientation, professional development workshops, networking events, and volunteer activities.
• Collaborate with team members and mentors while learning healthcare, business operations, processes, programs, and technologies.
• Follow HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable corporate and departmental policies.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising junior, majoring in computer science, information technology, or information systems, with graduation between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Availability for the full duration of the paid summer program.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and general comfort with virtual collaboration tools.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, innovation, creativity, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and interest in continuous learning.
• Passion for learning about the healthcare industry.

Nice to have

• Background in AI, Python, cloud engineering, AWS, Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Salesforce, microservices, or Mulesoft.
• Interest in cloud native computing, site reliability engineering, Mule, eGateway, or prompt engineering.
• Experience in data analytics.
• Exposure to Hadoop, Pig, Talend, or similar tools.
