Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer & Analyst

Location: Omaha, NE — onsite. U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders only; no C2C, subcontractors, or third-party candidates.

Employment: 6-month W-2 contract-to-hire.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and paginated reports for operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
• Build and optimize semantic data models, DAX measures, KPIs, Power Query transformations, and relational structures.
• Manage Power BI Service workspaces, refresh schedules, row-level security, administration, and deployment pipelines.
• Analyze business data through trend, risk, opportunity, root cause, variance, and ad hoc reporting.
• Partner with finance, operations, HR, data engineering, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve reporting issues, and deliver reporting solutions.
• Support data accuracy, governance, user acceptance testing, training, documentation, reporting automation, standardization, and Microsoft Fabric adoption.

Requirements

• Experience supporting ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Builder.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with paginated reports, row-level security, and Power BI administration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Power BI development and business analytics, including at least 2 years developing enterprise reporting solutions and at least 2 years working directly with business stakeholders.

• Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Lake.
• SQL Server and data warehousing.
• Python or R.
• SAP S/4HANA reporting.
• Git, Azure DevOps, or similar source control tools.
