Senior Technical Program Manager

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $155,500–$210,500 per year; the position may also be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Deliver strategic capabilities and experiences within the Personal Finance organization and Consumer Group.
• Create program plans with milestones, success measures, dependencies, and multiple contributing teams and phases.
• Identify risks and blockers, facilitate trade-off discussions, and determine paths forward across teams.
• Communicate program progress using data to surface trends, inform decisions, and drive next steps.
• Coordinate product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to align outcomes and deliver programs.
• Improve execution frameworks, best practices, tools, and templates for complex technical programs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience leading technology-focused programs involving multiple cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical program management experience and the ability to build partnerships across teams.
• Strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of software development approaches, architecture, and the software development lifecycle, with the ability to communicate with engineers and technical leaders.
• Experience applying program and project management best practices to program planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Agile or CSM experience or training.
• PMP certification.
