Quality & EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Carson, California facility, United States.

Salary: Base compensation of $88,200–$130,100 per year, plus benefits and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the site Quality Management System, including documentation control, management reviews, and ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits, customer inspections, and regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate CAPA activities and facilitate root cause investigations using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Support product-quality decisions and supervise quality control inspectors, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage quality KPIs, reduce scrap, analyze Cost of Quality effectiveness, and collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement on process improvements.
• Own facility EHS programs, incident investigations, safety training, hazardous waste compliance, emergency planning, and required documentation and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, or Engineering in a manufacturing facility.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.
• Demonstrated experience leading root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, Cal/OSHA, environmental regulations, and hazardous waste management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret standards and translate requirements into practical processes.
• Ability to frequently walk through production, warehouse, and outdoor facility areas and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments, with proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Nice to have

• Third-party certification as an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 internal auditor or lead auditor.
• Fluency in Spanish.
