Cloud Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
• Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation to provision environments.
• Write small serverless functions using Python or JavaScript as required.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to containers.
• Manage domains, Kubernetes containers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Use APM and monitoring tools such as NewRelic, AppDynamics, Datadog, Splunk, and ELK Stack.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or development across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Ability to communicate thought processes and ideas clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience with the ecosystems and services of at least one or two public cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Associate or Professional-level cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• In-depth working knowledge of cloud networking.
• Experience with cloud services, compute instances, security, and storage.
• Experience with shell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience administering Linux or Windows.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and CI/CD toolkits such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
