Technical Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid schedule with 2 days working from home, 3 days in the office, and flexible hours.

Salary: Up to MYR 7,000 per month.

What you will do

• Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, technical feasibility, and comprehensive project plans with user flows, Gantt charts, and milestones.
• Lead cross-functional engineers, QAs, and designers through the full software development lifecycle for web and mobile applications.
• Create functional requirements specifications and user stories during project initiation.
• Review deliverables for completeness and quality, ensuring project scopes and milestones are met.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships across organizational levels, while motivating teams and resolving conflicts.
• Select suitable Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall practices and conduct risk assessments with action plans and contingencies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in management-related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong spoken and written English with good, clear, and concise communication skills.
• Self-reliance, excellent time management, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Charismatic, persuasive, confident, and approachable during client interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience managing projects with technical teams.
• PMP or Scrum Master certification.
