Senior Project Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work with work from home up to 2 days per week depending on team needs. Flex-location allows up to 30 days per year working from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Manage multiple programs and complex projects across their full lifecycle, from bidding and inception through closure.
• Build business cases, capacity plans, resource plans, project plans, schedules, and communications strategies.
• Control project scope and change, manage risks and issues, track milestones, and take corrective action on deviations.
• Coordinate local and distributed project teams, stakeholders, management, and customers to maintain alignment and progress.
• Prepare status, variance, Steering Committee, change-request, risk, issue, and lessons-learned documentation.
• Work proactively with customers and their teams to meet project goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Track record of successfully managing multiple projects and small programs, including complexity, budgets, and deliverables, in a commercial environment.
• Experience presenting to customers and different levels of leadership.
• Experience with an IT solutions provider or an airline industry solutions provider.
• Knowledge of change control, project planning and control, project scope management, risk management, resource management, quality management, program management, project completion and integration, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication, leadership, influencing, customer focus, teamwork, results orientation, and execution skills.
• University degree or equivalent.
• Formal project management training and PMP certification.
