Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Greater Los Angeles Area; on-site construction responsibilities are required.

Annual base pay range: $165,000–$215,000, plus potential bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead assigned construction projects from pre-development and design coordination through final closeout and owner acceptance.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, cost projections, change orders, profit and loss, and monthly reporting.
• Review plans and construction documents, perform takeoffs and estimating, and provide value-engineering recommendations.
• Select and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, trade partners, field staff, and associated departments.
• Oversee site activities, documentation, RFIs, submittals, draw requests, quality control, safety, inspections, and OSHA-related requirements.
• Mentor field staff, coordinate with property management, resolve construction issues, and manage warranty and repair requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Construction Manager, including at least 3 years of high-level or increasing managerial experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the multifamily construction industry.
• Construction experience in large-scale multifamily projects.
• Non-construction-related degrees may be considered with additional years of construction experience.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, contracts, bids, subcontractors, project documentation, quality control, and construction closeout.
• Ability to coordinate with project superintendents, field staff, property management, development, design disciplines, consultants, and trade partners.
