TL;DR
Senior AI Platform Engineer (AI/Python/TypeScript): Building and operating AI agent platforms with an accent on cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, and production AI orchestration. Focus on designing evaluation frameworks, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and taking technical ownership of reliable platform engineering with minimal supervision.
Location: Hybrid work one day per week in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra. Candidates must already be based in Portugal and have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do
- Build and operate AI platform infrastructure and production AI agents.
- Design agent orchestration, MCP integrations, and evaluation frameworks.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using GCP or equivalent platforms and Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines as part of platform engineering and DevOps work.
- Take technical ownership and solve problems autonomously with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, including GCP or an equivalent platform, and Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with AI agents in production, including orchestration, MCP, and evaluation frameworks.
- Day-to-day experience with platform engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Autonomous problem-solving skills, minimal-supervision work, and technical ownership.
- Fluency in English at C1 level.
- Availability for hybrid work one day per week in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra.
- Current residence in Portugal and Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools.
- Experience with Kotlin, Go, or Rust.
