Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote work flexibility; must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain. In-person collaboration is valued.

What you will do

• Own Agentic Platform problems end to end, from design through production, influencing architecture and code quality.
• Build and operate infrastructure, runtimes, evaluation systems, observability, skills lifecycle capabilities, and generalist agent products.
• Work closely with hirify.globalers, product teams, and operations teams who use the platform.
• Own production reliability, cost, and security.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to product and engineering culture and team building.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with solid backend fundamentals.
• Depth in at least one of distributed systems and runtimes, evaluation and data quality, security and authorization, or product user experience.
• Experience building products, platforms, or infrastructure used by other people.
• Good understanding of user and developer experience.
• Ability to make tradeoffs between speed, reliability, cost, security, and user experience.
• Ability to simplify complexity through clear abstractions and maintainable code.
• Fluent English; French is not required.
• Self-directed, pragmatic, humble, collaborative, and enthusiastic about learning and teaching.
• Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, evaluations, or MCP.
• ML or MLOps experience.
• Knowledge of the open-source AI ecosystem and current AI technologies.
