What you will do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance applications, services, APIs, web services, and platform components for critical event management solutions.
• Drive the development and evolution of a scalable mass notification platform across cloud-native and on-premises environments.
• Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operational support.
• Define and implement scalable architectural solutions and develop tools supporting infrastructure, operational efficiency, security, and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve complex performance, scalability, availability, and security issues while contributing to modernization and cloud transformation.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Software Development teams through code reviews and technical design discussions.

Requirements

• Professional experience designing and developing enterprise software applications.
• Strong programming experience in one or more of Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, web services, or microservices-based applications.
• Understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, and distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and developing SaaS or cloud-native applications.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Knowledge of messaging systems, event-driven architectures, or real-time communications platforms.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices.
