B2B Credit Control & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week on average in the central London office. Work from a different location is available for up to 6 weeks per year.

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Own the full B2B order-to-cash cycle for retail partners, including invoicing, cash allocation, aging, remittance reconciliation, monthly AR reporting, balance management, and deduction recovery.
• Build and operate chargeback and deduction management, including filing disputes through retailer vendor portals within required filing windows and producing monthly deduction reports.
• Design and embed credit governance covering credit applications, credit limits, approval matrices, credit-hold workflows, and audit trails.
• Manage retail partner onboarding with Growth and Operations, including NetSuite customer setup, credit limits, resale exemption certificates, and commercial onboarding integration.
• Own Shopify-to-NetSuite month-end reconciliation and work with the Workflow Engineer to reduce manual processing through automation.
• Lead delivery of live B2B AR visibility for Sales Operations with ITBS and the data team, while building relationships with retailer and partner AP teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrable B2B credit control experience in wholesale or retail, including managing large-retailer accounts that apply deductions.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite AR, including customer setup, credit limits, aging reports, deposit applications, credit memos, and reconciliation.
• Experience disputing chargebacks directly with large retailer AP teams through vendor portals such as Walmart Seller, Nordstrom, or Target Partners Online, within retailer filing windows.
• Experience investigating and resolving discrepancies across retailer remittances, NetSuite, and Shopify or comparable ERP and ecommerce systems.
• Experience drafting finance controls such as credit policies, approval matrices, and write-off thresholds.
• Experience working with retailer AP teams on dispute escalations, Sales Operations on partner account status, and Finance colleagues on reporting and audit, with clear written documentation of decisions and approvals.
• Demonstrable experience using AI or automation tools in finance work, including checking outputs before relying on them.

Nice to have

• Accounting training such as AAT, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition and intercompany flows.
