Television Editor & Photographer

What you will do

• Shoot video and audio for live and recorded television news and event productions.
• Edit assigned and breaking news stories to match scripts using non-linear, server-based, computer-based, and mobile editing systems.
• Provide field pictures and short videos for social media platforms and upload content to the station website when required.
• Set up and operate microwave ENG trucks, LiveU equipment, ENG cameras, and related news production systems.
• Assist with video acquisition, editing, and playback preparation for newscasts.
• Operate and maintain news vehicles and equipment, monitor scanners, and perform routine maintenance and light troubleshooting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the occupation or as a television cameraman.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish.
• Knowledge of P2 and XD cameras.
• Knowledge of Avid, Premiere, and Final Cut.
• Knowledge of LiveU technology.
• Experience covering live developing news in the field.
• Experience with television news networks.
