Global Network & Telecom Services - Full-Stack Product Engineer (Network Automation & AI-Ops)

Location: On-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States. Travel may include up to 15% domestic or international travel. Relocation is not authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Expected compensation: $145,676–$178,049, including base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain internal operational dashboards, network topology and graph visualizations, large data views, and real-time or streaming displays using TypeScript and modern web frameworks such as React.
• Build conversational and agent-driven interfaces with chat UIs, streaming responses, and tool or agent output rendering for natural-language access to network and inventory data.
• Build and maintain APIs, services, and data integrations connecting CMDB, cloud inventory, Axonius, DNS/IPAM, and ITSM sources.
• Integrate AI services, agents, and tools such as LLM assistants, summarization and triage, anomaly detection, and natural-language query capabilities into production experiences.
• Use Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD to build, test, and deploy software with component/UI testing, accessibility, and performance practices.
• Translate operational requirements into technical solutions, document workflows and runbooks, provide support escalation, and collaborate in Agile/Scrum practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology and five years of Information Technology experience in a manufacturing, private, public, government, or military environment; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED and eight years of Information Technology experience in a manufacturing, distribution center, private, public, government, or military environment.
• Five years of experience developing back-end or integration code, such as Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js, and comfort working with YAML in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Git, version control, and CI/CD concepts.
• Interest and aptitude in applying AI, including integrating LLM or AI services and agents into applications, with a desire to grow AI engineering skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building data-dense or operational UIs, including dashboards, graph or topology visualizations, large data tables, or real-time and streaming data such as WebSockets.
• Experience building conversational or agent-driven interfaces or integrating LLM/generative AI services such as AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI, including streaming responses and tool-calling output.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, GraphQL, and designing or consuming APIs.
• Front-end testing experience with tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress, along with design systems and WCAG accessibility.
• Working knowledge of network concepts and data, including inventory/CMDB, DNS/IPAM, routing, and switching.
• Experience integrating or extending vendor-provided platforms and working across multiple tools and systems.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, containers, or Linux.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and ITSM processes.
