Growth Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Remote / Austin, TX; based in the Austin area.

What you will do

• Turn client briefs into live projects, including scoping, decisions, contributor instructions, and recruiting.
• Build and operate sourcing and screening pipelines for specialized talent across domains and languages.
• Analyze contributor drop-off and quality issues, then collaborate with product and engineering on fixes.
• Convert one-off operational work into reusable templates, trackers, and playbooks.
• Report to leadership on contributor supply, quality, and project health.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in growth, operations, strategy, marketplace operations, recruiting operations, or a similar generalist role.
• Experience owning ambiguous, cross-functional projects from zero to shipped.
• Strong analytical skills, fluency with spreadsheets, and comfort with SQL or willingness to learn it quickly; ability to interpret large, messy datasets.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Good judgment about when to move quickly and when to involve legal, security, or quality.
• High ownership and a bias to action.
• Ideally, experience at a startup or scale-up in Austin's tech scene.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketplaces, talent platforms, crowdsourcing, or AI training data.
• High-volume recruiting or sourcing experience, including niche or technical talent.
• Multilingual ability or experience with global communities.
• Scripting or automation skills, such as Python or AI tools for scaling repetitive work.
