Manager, Alumni Engagement & Operations (AI)

Location: Remote within MENA; working hours must be compatible with the EST time zone.

What you will do

• Plan and manage multi-channel alumni communications across Slack, email, SMS, and LinkedIn, including cohort campaigns, coaching milestones, events, and support reminders.
• Manage alumni Slack and LinkedIn communities, eligibility-based access, welcome communications, profile updates, outcomes campaigns, and peer-to-peer engagement.
• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using Google Apps Script, Slack API, Connected Sheets, no-code tools, and AI-powered steps with testing, validation, logging, safe-failure logic, and documentation.
• Maintain BigQuery datasets and views, connect data to Sheets, Tableau, and Hex, and own dashboards and analyses covering alumni outcomes and coach performance.
• Manage coach assignments, onboarding, offboarding, scheduling, coverage, operational guides, and professional development session coordination.
• Build employer-partner candidate pipelines by matching alumni and learners to role requirements and delivering shortlists with resumes and LinkedIn profiles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in program operations, alumni relations, career services, community operations, or operations analytics, ideally in education, workforce development, or a high-volume learner environment.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse; BigQuery is preferred.
• Scripting ability in Google Apps Script/JavaScript or Python, and comfort working with REST APIs.
• Excellent written communication, including messaging that drives action and sound judgment about tone, timing, and audience fatigue.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams across internal teams, contracted coaches, and external partners.
• A builder’s mindset, including identifying repetitive work, creating systems, and documenting them for other operators.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to operational work, with judgment about when human review is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau or Hex, Typeform, Airtable, Notion, and an ATS or CRM such as Recruit CRM.
• Familiarity with Amazon Career Choice or similar employer-funded upskilling programs.
• Experience coordinating contractor or vendor teams.
• Slack API experience.
