Manager, Corporate FP&A (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA; in-office four days per week with Fridays from home for employees near an office.

Base salary: $133,000–$185,000 USD per year, with potential bonuses, equity, and benefits for full-time employees.

What you will do

• Lead the Corporate Finance workstream for integrating a recent acquisition, including the Day 1 readiness plan, close calendar, chart of accounts, reporting cutover, milestones, and dependencies through close and post-close.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Data, and Systems teams to align account mapping, reporting hierarchies, data flows, and Pigment planning models for the combined company.
• Build pro forma and combined-company three-statement financial views, track combined KPIs, and incorporate the acquired business into monthly forecasts, the annual operating plan, and the long-range model.
• Identify integration risks, gaps, open decisions, and forecasted cost and organizational synergies; drive issues to resolution and report progress to Finance leadership.
• Support finance-wide integration communications, ad hoc analyses, strategic projects, and public company workstreams.
• Use AI tools to automate manual processes and build dashboards that improve Corporate Finance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate or strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development, or consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of the three financial statements and public company reporting, including the quarterly earnings cycle.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving many stakeholders and firm deadlines.
• Expertise in Excel or Google Sheets, including building scalable, efficient, and intuitive financial models.
• Exceptional attention to detail and judgment when delivering accurate, executive-ready materials under tight timelines.
• Superior communication skills and ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Team-oriented builder mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Public company experience and/or M&A integration experience.
• MBA or CPA.
• Experience with Pigment, SQL, BI or dashboarding tools, or AI LLMs.
