Senior Manager, Finance Analytics (Insurtech)

What you will do

• Lead the Finance Analytics function within the centralized Risk, Analytics & Data Science team and help build and scale the team.
• Own driver-based financial forecasts for merchant GMV, attach rates, revenue, cash balances, margins, and product-line performance.
• Lead annual operating planning, budgeting, and the 3–5 year long-range financial model in partnership with Accounting.
• Run KPI and OKR performance management, diagnose variances by merchant, product, and segment, and provide forward-looking insights.
• Partner with senior leadership, the CFO, Sales, Growth, Operations, Risk, Accounting, People, and other functions on strategic decisions, resource planning, and financial performance.
• Build unit-economics, ROI, scenario, sensitivity, P&L, capital allocation, fundraising, M&A, and corporate-development analyses as needed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development.
• Experience owning forecasting methodology or financial strategy, including driver-based financial modeling, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and unit economics.
• Strong analytical and data skills spanning SQL and end-to-end financial modeling.
• Ability to synthesize complex analysis into board- and executive-level materials.
• Experience managing or mentoring senior analysts and raising a team’s technical bar.
• Interest in using new AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to improve day-to-day efficiency.
• Ability to consider challenges beyond Finance and prioritize what is best for the business holistically.
• Empathy, humility, and curiosity.

• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Python, and BI tools.
• Insurtech, fintech, or financial-services experience.
