What you will do

  • Lead, coach, hire, and develop IT administrators while defining support coverage, roles, priorities, and service levels.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of company-issued macOS, Windows, and mobile devices, including procurement, provisioning, configuration, patching, refresh, retirement, MDM, and asset inventory.
  • Own identity and access management, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, joiner/mover/leaver processes, SaaS applications, licensing, renewals, and integrations.
  • Oversee the IT helpdesk, corporate infrastructure, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN/zero-trust access, collaboration platforms, email, file sharing, business continuity, backup, recovery, and new office buildouts.
  • Implement IT controls and evidence for FedRAMP, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2 Type II, and other certifications; manage audits, remediation, vendors, integrations, process automation, and AI-tool adoption.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT operations or corporate IT, including at least 3 years in a management or director-level leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading and developing IT administrators or similar technical teams.
  • Deep hands-on experience with identity and access management, such as Okta, Entra ID, or Google Workspace; endpoint management, such as Jamf, Intune, or Kandji; and SaaS administration.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and procurement skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to executive stakeholders and external auditors.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a security-focused company such as an MDR/MSSP or another technology-driven, high-growth environment.
  • Experience supporting FedRAMP authorization, another U.S. federal compliance program, ISO 42001, or another AI management system certification.
  • Experience building IT for a distributed workforce and establishing new physical offices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management practices.
  • Experience integrating AI-enabled tools into IT operations and employee workflows.
  • ITIL, CompTIA, or vendor-specific certifications.
  • Experience with MS Sentinel, Google SecOps, and Chronicle.
