Staff Program Manager (RF Sensing)

Location: San Jose, CA; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in-office, or remote from an approved location in the United States.

Salary: $227,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development program and drive day-to-day execution.
• Plan and coordinate resources with internal and external stakeholders across engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations.
• Synchronize technical teams by establishing program tools, practices, processes, roadmaps, schedules, and budgets.
• Participate in technical discussions, develop scopes and solutions, and manage integrated master schedules.
• Track and report schedule, resource, cost, risk, and technical performance metrics.
• Represent hirify.global with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers while supporting proposals, RFI responses, customer engagement, and contract growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant program management experience.
• B.S. in an engineering discipline.
• Experience developing and/or managing programs for satellite-based systems.
• Track record of delivering complete systems comprising hardware, firmware, software, and algorithms on time, to scope, and with high quality.
• Ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules.
• Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully across engineering disciplines.
• Experience in vendor and contract management.
• Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information, including U.S. person status or eligibility for access or export authorization.

Nice to have

• M.S. or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline.
• Systems engineering experience and experience with inter-discipline technical trade studies.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Experience with microwave instruments.
