KYB/AML Analyst

Location: Remote in Sweden; candidates must be based in or relocating to Stockholm and have the right to work in Sweden.

Salary: SEK 770,000–SEK 1,060,000 annual target base salary, plus equity.

What you will do

• Conduct first-line KYB reviews for business customers onboarding with Ramp's Swedish payment institution, including company verification, beneficial ownership, sanctions and PEP screening, adverse-media screening, and risk assessment.
• Make standard case decisions end to end and escalate complex or higher-risk cases with clear rationale.
• Communicate with customers throughout onboarding through document requests, follow-ups, and status updates.
• Resolve onboarding requirements raised by card-issuing and payment partners for EU customers.
• Document decisions to a standard suitable for second-line and regulatory review, and maintain Swedish casework coverage during absences or incidents.
• Improve onboarding operations through playbooks, templates, and AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of KYB, AML, or onboarding experience at a fintech, payment institution, EMI, or bank.
• Strong knowledge of business customer due diligence, including company registers, UBO identification, sanctions and PEP screening, and red-flag detection.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Clear and friendly written communication with customers.
• Curiosity about AI tools and their use in improving casework.
• Based in or relocating to Stockholm, with the right to work in Sweden.

Nice to have

• Strong Swedish language skills.
• Familiarity with Swedish sources and requirements, including Bolagsverket, the beneficial ownership register, and Financial Inspectorate expectations under the Swedish AML Act.
• Experience onboarding EU businesses across multiple jurisdictions.
• An additional European language.
