What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for strategic customers implementing big data projects, from architecture and data engineering through model deployment.
• Collaborate with go-to-market leadership and account teams on engagement strategies and sales plays that drive AI adoption across the assigned territory.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CAIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and other technical executives, building credibility and supporting product adoption.
• Enable customers through workshops, proofs of concept, presentations, demos, and customer-facing technical collateral.
• Lead high-profile agentic AI implementations using Databricks Agent Framework, AgentBricks, and other Databricks AI capabilities.
• Improve agent quality and production readiness through evaluation, monitoring, tracing, product feedback, escalation support, and a structured POC intake process.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles influencing technical executives and driving ML/AI strategy and product adoption.
• Experience designing and implementing production-grade machine learning and generative AI applications in customer or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions, including RAG, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration, and autonomous workflows; experience with Databricks Agent Framework and AgentBricks is relevant to the role.
• Strong understanding of agentic AI evaluation methodologies, including MLflow Tracing, LLM judges, custom scorers, and systematic measurement of agent quality, reliability, and production performance.
• Deep familiarity with frontier models from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini, including deployment, optimization, and migration strategies, as well as machine learning, LLMs, and agentic AI workflows.
• Programming, debugging, and problem-solving proficiency with SQL, Python, Apache Spark, cloud platforms, Lakehouse architectures, and AI tools.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive AI customer outcomes.
• Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP and understanding cloud-native AI platforms.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
