Senior AI Architect and Engineer Lead

What you will do

• Define the target-state AI architecture, reference designs, and engineering patterns for generative AI, agents, machine learning, retrieval, and the data platform.
• Design data-to-AI interfaces using star schemas, semantic layers, dimensional modelling, and knowledge ontologies so agents can reliably search, retrieve, and reason over enterprise data.
• Design, code, prototype, and lead production delivery of LLM, RAG, agent, multi-agent, machine learning, and predictive-model services.
• Establish automated evaluation frameworks, non-deterministic testing standards, compliance gates, reusable code repositories, and engineering standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including MCP servers, vector databases, knowledge graphs, small and open models, multimodal AI, and document AI.
• Embed cost optimization, data privacy, RBAC, and prompt-injection defenses while advising senior IT executives and business leaders.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and testing AI solutions in Python and SQL across LLMs, generative AI, RAG, agent frameworks, and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying custom LLM agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or LangChain in production.
• Experience setting AI and solution architecture, reference designs, engineering standards, modelling standards, and technical direction across modern cloud data estates.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent AI and data services on another enterprise cloud.
• At least 7 years of experience designing enterprise data architectuhirify.global and data warehouses at scale.
• Deep experience writing clean, modular Python and SQL code and consuming complex hirify.globalT APIs.
• Understanding of data cataloguing, lineage, privacy compliance, and their integration with autonomous AI systems.
• Experience with MLOps and LLMOps, including model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Knowledge of hirify.globalponsible AI frameworks including ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act.
• Ability to articulate complex technical strategies, lead workshops, run steering groups, and influence senior executive stakeholders.
• Proven engineering judgment regarding generative AI limitations and the appropriate use of AI automation versus deterministic engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data analytics, or equivalent deep hands-on senior career experience.

Nice to have

• Enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, or semantic modelling experience, including star schemas and dimensional models.
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, or Databricks experience.
• Experience taking AI solutions into production.
