Senior AI GTM Engineer, AI and Applications

What you will do

• Own Claude plugins, skills, connectors, role-based organization, release processes, support, and retirement across the Sales division.
• Define what Claude and other AI models can read or change in Salesforce and related systems, including guardrails and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Build and develop Cortex applications and self-built systems outside Salesforce, and advise on AI capabilities in third-party sales tools.
• Connect AI applications with enrichment, intent data, engagement, call recording, content, quoting, signature, and other Salesforce-adjacent systems.
• Represent Sales needs to the AI Platform team, ensuring secure data access and appropriate user permissions.
• Lead architecture, development, testing, monitoring, and technical direction for greenfield AI applications outside Salesforce.

Requirements

• At least five years of software development experience, including significant experience building AI applications or agents running in production.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with APIs, OAuth, identity, webhooks, and Model Context Protocol.
• Experience integrating a system of record such as Salesforce through its APIs and permission model.
• Hands-on experience with cloud hosting, including deployment, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Experience with data protection, including permissions, data residency, and determining what an AI system should or should not see.
• Understanding of how sellers work and how to preserve human judgment where it adds value.
• Clear writing skills for decision requests, definitions of done, and documentation.
• Experience delivering results through teams not directly managed, including platform, IT, operations, and sales leadership teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude plugins, skills, hooks, Claude Code, Anthropic’s API, or Agent SDK.
• Enough Salesforce development experience with APIs, connected apps, and Flows to work alongside a Salesforce engineer.
• Experience with sales engagement, lead enrichment, intent, call recording, CPQ, or similar sales tools.
• Background in retail, manufacturing, or supply chain.
