Associate Instructional Designer, Math (6-12)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Project Status Worker role with an end date of September 30, 2028.

Salary: $54,000–$58,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build digital math products and curriculum assets for grades 6–12 using authoring tools and established best practices.
• Perform metadata tagging, concept mapping, digital editing, storyboarding, and manuscript review.
• Design and develop eBooks, interactives, simulations, games, videos, and virtual labs through a UBD process.
• Review vendor work for adherence to guidelines and support digital launches with templates, trackers, and content development guidelines.
• Maintain build documentation and collaborate with Instructional Designers, content, product management, UX, creative media, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support schedules, user testing, accessibility, and the identification, testing, troubleshooting, and definition of technical bugs and platform or authoring-tool enhancements.

Requirements

• Digital content and curriculum expertise in mathematics for grades 6–12.
• Ability to build digital products with authoring tools and follow product requirements and best practices.
• Ability to work with metadata tagging, concept mapping, digital editing, storyboarding, and digital curriculum assets.
• Ability to review vendor work for quality and guideline compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and meet intermediate and final project schedules.
• Ability to identify, test, troubleshoot, define, and follow up on technical bugs and enhancements in authoring tools and digital platforms.
• Ability to contribute to accessibility throughout the product development process and participate in user testing.
• Authorization to work for any employer within the United States.
