Finance Teaching Assistant (Finance)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $2,000 per 4-credit course during an 11-week quarter; $1,185 per 1–2 credit course during an 11-week quarter.

What you will do

• Support and grade assignments for a group of 30–40 students in an 11-week online course.
• Mentor and coach students as they learn new skills and develop professionally.
• Attend course lectures and lead discussion sections to reinforce key concepts.
• Host weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community.
• Communicate regularly with students, respond to messages promptly, and help students stay motivated and develop strong academic habits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring undergraduate students.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for student success.
• Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing.
• Availability to commit 4–6 hours per week, with some flexibility for training.
