Technical Integration Engineer (EV Charging)

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

hirify.global provides a cloud-based charge point management SaaS platform for Charge Point Operators and e-Mobility Service Providers, supporting the transition to electric and sustainable mobility.

What you will do

• Create OCPI roaming connections with roaming partners and hubs.
• Test and integrate contactless payment terminals across hardware-to-hardware and cloud-to-cloud environments.
• Test features including Eichrecht, Autocharge, and Plug&Charge on certified hardware, and manage the test certification lifecycle.
• Implement innovative technical solutions with the development team, collaborate with platform developers, and provide third-line support for complex technical issues and escalations.
• Coordinate integration projects across departments, including structured implementation, documentation, customer IT cooperation, and workstream ownership.
• Troubleshoot technical and data problems, support Sales with technical client inquiries, and produce internal and external troubleshooting, use-case, and procedure articles.

Requirements

• Affinity with computers and technology.
• Experience with protocols and/or coding, such as OCPP, SOAP, HTTP(S), or Python.
• 1–3 years of experience in a technical or technical support role, preferably for B2B services or SaaS applications.
• Communication skills and experience with strategic stakeholder management.
• Professional fluency in English, written and verbal.
• A sustainable mindset.

Nice to have

• A technical or IT/computer science bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Background in or experience with electric vehicle charging.
