Senior Data Relationship Consultant

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid work with four days in-office each week in most locations

Base salary: CAD 77,867–114,193; annual incentive target: 12.5%

What you will do

• Manage data relationships with Canadian asset managers, industry associations, and third-party administrators.
• Visit fund companies for service reviews, establish data acquisition channels, and onboard complex datasets into global databases.
• Promote managed investment data capabilities and quality to internal client-facing teams and existing and prospective customers.
• Lead projects that enhance managed investment databases in response to industry changes, product roadmaps, and client needs.
• Analyze market trends and regulatory changes, develop local data and content strategies, and coordinate data collection plans with associations and working groups.
• Monitor competitors and local market developments, recommend opportunities, and resolve client data questions through level-3 support.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of the Canadian investment management industry, primarily asset management, fund distribution, and wealth management.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience working with financial data, with deep subject matter expertise in managed investment datasets, processes, methodologies, and/or analytics.
• Experience supporting business growth and client engagement activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage complex relationships, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in data management and relationship management.
• French language skills.
