Senior Software Product Owner (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid; on-site three days a week in Northridge, CA or San Diego, CA, United States.

Salary: $124,000–$212,000 USD annually for California locations.

What you will do

• Define priorities and evolve the Shared Services platform as a product by balancing internal and external stakeholder input.
• Act as the technical liaison between platform teams and software developers, operations teams, and other business customers.
• Support one to two Scrum teams by building and grooming the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, technical owners, software developers, testers, Scrum Masters, delivery leaders, and product owners to align priorities and customer experience.
• Establish and drive platform KPIs, SLOs, and SLAs; ensure work is tested, observable, documented, and communicated for customer enablement.
• Lead sprint-demo feedback loops and decide when sufficient value has been created for release.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Product Development, or Product Management.
• Alternatively, an advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Product Development, or Product Management.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field.
