Licensing & Contracting Supervisor (Insurance Operations)

Location: Dallas, TX; onsite office environment at Fountain Place in Downtown Dallas.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and Licensing Coordinators while setting expectations for productivity, quality, service, collaboration, and accountability.
• Oversee onboarding, training, quality reviews, coaching, cross-training, and development plans.
• Monitor work queues, turnaround times, workloads, service levels, and daily performance; delegate work and adjust priorities and resources.
• Troubleshoot complex licensing, contracting, system, and workflow issues and manage high-impact escalations.
• Partner with agents, carrier partners, vendors, leadership, and cross-functional teams to coordinate issue resolution and improve service outcomes.
• Track and communicate operational trends, personnel matters, risks, corrective actions, and performance progress through actionable reporting.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance licensing, contracting, compliance, or operations.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Ability to coach teams, establish accountability, and align execution with a field-driven culture.
• Strong systems thinking, analytical judgment, reporting, and process-development skills.
• Experience with CRM, workflow, ticketing, or comparable operational systems.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence or reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with NIPR, carrier portals, and insurance licensing compliance standards.
• Experience leading Team Leads and Licensing Coordinators.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, workflow redesign, or operational transformation.
• Knowledge of life insurance carrier contracting and agent onboarding processes.
