Executive Project Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday with colleagues, with the option to choose the work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $123,721.66–$199,300.00. Incentive eligible; not sales commission eligible.

What you will do

• Lead large, strategic customer projects from post-order intake through manufacturing, shipment, field deployment, and final handoff.
• Own executive-level customer relationships, acting as the primary liaison and trusted point of contact throughout project execution.
• Coordinate project engineering, factory operations, logistics, sales, quality, and regional execution teams.
• Manage risks, escalations, scope changes, schedules, quality requirements, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure technical, commercial, logistical, regulatory, and customer-specific documentation is complete and delivered on time.
• Identify process gaps and develop repeatable best practices for complex data center project delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience managing large, complex, customer-facing projects or programs, ideally in data centers, critical infrastructure, HVAC, or industrial equipment environments.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills across engineering, operations, logistics, sales, and field execution teams.
• Experience managing high-value customer relationships and serving as a trusted point of contact for strategic accounts.
• Experience overseeing projects from order intake through manufacturing, shipment, deployment, and final handoff.
• Strong understanding of project execution disciplines, including risk management, escalation handling, schedule coordination, and quality assurance.
• Ability to manage technical, commercial, and logistical requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly regarding documentation, compliance, and execution readiness.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve customer outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively across regions and maintain consistent execution for complex customer programs.
