Data Center Construction - Junior to Mid Construction Project Manager (Scheduler) (Data Center)

Location: Fort Wayne, IN; Buffalo, WV; Columbus, OH. Local support is required, with approximately 4–5 days per week onsite in Fort Wayne, IN, subject to client needs.

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Base salary does not include potential bonuses, 401(k) match, or other benefits.

What you will do

• Independently manage the full scope of construction projects while managing components of other projects.
• Lead and mentor teams while managing project schedules, scope, and budgets.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Act as a trusted partner to maintain the client’s vision and keep projects on track.
• Manage invoicing and collections and identify add-services opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients, A&E professionals, contractors, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams while gathering requirements and resolving complex risks and conflicts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in construction scheduling and a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience scheduling critical-environment projects, such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• Experience in ground-up, vertical construction scheduling.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ambition and a focus on construction and project management, with interest in growing within a modern and energetic business.

Nice to have

• A minimum of 2+ years of P6 scheduling experience is preferred.
